This project was done for the new home owner who was re-locating from California to an older house in Bloomington.. We were asked to repair the plaster walls, cap the ceilings, build and install new kitchen cabinets, re-finish upstairs wood floors, add networking, and do a 26 color paint job. This 2-story home has a limestone exterior, big front porch and decks on two levels in the back.

Our job was inside.

Wallpaper was everywhere, so the first part was removal of paper and paste. This revealed the state of the plaster walls. We hired Dean MacDonald to work his magic, and all the walls and ceilings got repaired ready for paint. We also ran networking, cable TV and telephone wiring to the living room and upstairs bedrooms. We built Our own oak custom kitchen cabinets, added new counters, and re-painted the hutch. Upstairs we sanded and refinished the old wood floors in three bedrooms. We painted the whole inside of the house, except for the natural oak trim downstairs. Each room had its own colors for ceiling, walls and trim. One
bathroom had two colors on walls. The Living Room was cranberry, the Dining Room was yellow, and the Kitchen was khaki. We labeled all paint cans with room name, and wall, ceiling or trim to avoid confusion.
